Roy Rogers (Leonard Franklin Slye, 1911 - 1998) and Dale
Evans (Lucille Wood Smith, or Frances Octavia Smith, 1912 - 2001) are buried in
the Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Appling Valley, California (USA). The couple were the premier country and
western stars of television, movies, and music in the 1940’s, 1950’s, and early
1960’s. Dale Evans wrote many
songs. In their later years,
especially, they were devoted active Christians.
