What They Think of Us: Unblack Metal
Advisory: There may be profane and/or disturbing content in this post.

“The whole purpose of black metal was to create the most
dirty, unclean, antichristian sound possible. The spirit behind black metal
will always be antichristian. That's where the sound comes from. You can't have
good and evil mixed together and it be Christian” Death Raizer (Note: Many black metal musicians draw a distinction between black metal music and satanism.)
Unblack metal is music which sounds identical to black metal but which has lyrics and content which promotes Christianity.
2008, the Polish Christian Unblack musician Fire (Jarek), comments: "God created music and satan distorted it. I want to bring people to know Christ through music that they enjoy. My lyrics are always either from the Bible or inspired by my life testimony and experiences. ... he delivered me from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and black magic! We serve an awesome God."

My personal take on this: Unblack metal music is certainly on the far extreme fringes of Christianity. I believe that the Christian musicians who produce it are sincere in their intent and that God knows men's (and women's) hearts.
Do the form and origins of this type of art make it inherently evil? Is Christian country music acceptable? Is Christian rap music acceptable?
A few years ago there was a woman named Kellie Everts who claimed to be a "stripper for Christ." Could there be Christian pornography? Where is the line?

Song Version of Pastor Joe Nelm's NASCAR Prayer
Someone has made a country music auto-tuned version of Pastor Joe Nelm''s NASCAR prayer . I personally think that Pastor Nelm's prayer is not sacrilegious and was intended in the "in all things" sense mentioned in scripture. I find the video to be humorous. You may not. The song was created by a commercial group trying to sell their "songify" service, so their intentions, and opinion of the video, may not be as pure as Pastor Nelms'.

The Cash Family Singing "Will the Circle be Unbroken"
Johnny Cash (1932 - 2003) opened all his concerts by saying, "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash." He is considered to be one of the legendary icons of American Country Music and is in the Country Music Hall of fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
As a young man, Cash led a highly troubled life. He had a failed marriage complete with numerous marital infidelities. He fell into alcohol and drug abuse just as his career began to flourish, His life began to slowly turn around after he married the established country music singer, June Carter with whom he toured and performed for thirty-five years until her death in 2003. The video above features Johnny, June, and their son, John Carter Cash (b. 1970).
Cash remained a troubled and conflicted man even after his conversion to Christianity. He became an outspoken Christian and called himself "the biggest sinner of them all."
