Jesus, the Suffering Servant

Yacov Rambsel, a Messianic Jewish rabbi, claims to have found the name Yeshua (Jesus) embedded in every major Old Testament messianic prophecy.  No matter what you think about the possibility of the reality of the Bible Codes, this is very interesting.  I am still very undecided on this.

Rabbi Rambsel says that in the "Suffering Servant" passage in Isaiah 53, counting every twelfth letter, the following is spelled out, "Jesus is my name."

  1. Healthy skepticism is a good thing as long as the mind is not shut to consider the possibility that your perception may not align with reality and there is so much more that we do not know than we know on ANY subject.

I define a well educated individual as one who has learned enough to realize how little he/she knows yet is excited to learn more. There are a lot of things we build boxes around to feel good about ourselves and comfortably exist. Truth is not always convenient or desired.

From many years of walking with God and letting Jesus be Lord of most of my life and affairs the more I know God the more I am amazed about Him. The closer I get to Him the more I realize that only goodness comes from God and what has been added to His perfect creations is what defiles it. Lucifer the chief angel over 1/3 of the host of Heaven's angels reached above who he was "I will be as the Most High God (his Creator)." This pride led to rebellion which spread to mankind as sin and rebellion and pride. Pride is not confidence in who you are and what you have achieved - that is confidence - but when you think more highly of yourself or others than is real. The created thinking he could be as God His Creator is the start of imperfection in God's universe and Heaven. Pulling mankind away from God through deception and lust to be more than man is added chaos to the universe. In the new Heaven(s) and the new Earth all will be perfect as in the beginning of Creation. All the former will be wiped away, even the universe itself will have no trace of what evils has been. Then there will be total harmony of all creation void of pride, sin, rebellion, etc.

Saying that I seem to have drifted from the subject. Consider that God dictated the Torah TORH to Moses word by word. Is it so puzzling how the Creator could pack a small amount of words with history, propehcy, wisdom beyond our comprehension, and point out His plan of salvation through Jesus His eternal Son who left Heaven to live as a sinless man to take man's penalty for sin on Himself to set us free through Him? What is mind blowing is how much God loves EVEN the worse of us to take our sins. If this is realized the foolishness of negelecting so GREAT a Salvation to be in Heaven with Jesus and the saints is. We focus on the here and now. This time on earth is NOTHING compared with eternity. Consider God knows all -past, present, future - in this finite period called TIME, which will end and be no more as it joins eternity. What ever happens here against us is NOTHING compared to God's promises eternal through Jesus. Who would want to miss out on the source of all Good and be eternally separated from their loving Creator who knows the truth?? How could one neglect so great a salvation?
