Christians

At some time during their lives, the following people have publicly identified themselves as Christian.   Inclusion in this list does not indicate approval or disapproval of the person, their religious beliefs, or their actions.  This is a recurring segment in this blog.

Clyde T. Francisco: (b. 1916, Virginia – d. 1981) Old Testament theologian, seminary professor, author.

Guo Yingen: (b. 1972, Singapore) aka: Grace Quek, Annabel Chong.  Raised in a devout Christian family, Grace Quek as an adult became an actress in pornographic films.

Peter John Gomes: (b. 1942, Massachusetts) Preacher, theologian, university professor.  Gomes is a celibate homosexual.

Michel Aflaq: (1910, Syria – 1989) Greek Orthodox, cofounder of the Baath political party and an advocate of socialism and Arab nationalism.  The government of Iraq claimed that Aflaq was a deathbed convert to Islam.

August Hermann Cremer: (1834 – 1903) German Protestant theologian, university professor.  Cremer is remembered for having prepared a lexicon of the Greek New Testament.
